Every record on the Atlas begins as a submission from a council, a regional secretariat or a line ministry. A submission is not published because it was received; it is published because it has been reviewed against its evidence and approved by an officer who did not author it.

The person who creates a record can never approve it. That separation is enforced by the platform rather than by policy alone, because a rule that depends on people remembering it is a rule that eventually fails.

Every published figure carries its source, the period it covers, the date it was verified and the office answerable for it. Financial, capacity and land-availability claims cannot be published at all without a source, a named verifier and a validity period.

Records have review dates. When one lapses the record is shown as out of date rather than quietly left in place, because a stale figure presented as current is worse than no figure.

Where something has not been established, the Atlas says so. An absence of data is never presented as an absence of the thing itself.

When you submit an enquiry we record what you told us, the office it was routed to, and the version of this notice you consented to. Consent to being contacted about your enquiry is separate from consent to receive updates; agreeing to the first does not opt you into the second.

Enquiries are not deleted. Where a correction or withdrawal is needed, it is recorded as an amendment so that the history of what was said and when remains intact.

The Atlas is built to WCAG 2.2 AA. Every map has an equivalent list or table, status is never conveyed by colour alone, and the service is operable by keyboard throughout.

If you encounter a barrier, please report it. Accessibility defects are treated as service defects, not as enhancement requests.

Information on the Atlas supports initial investment screening. It does not replace independent technical, legal, financial or environmental due diligence, and it does not constitute an offer, a guarantee of land availability, or an approval of any kind.

The Atlas covers Tanzania Mainland. Records are published as intelligence, and the responsible office named on each record remains the authority for it.

Anyone may report information that appears to be inaccurate. Reports are reviewed by the office responsible for the record.

Where a correction is upheld it is published as an audited amendment: the record shows that it changed, when, and on what basis. Records are never silently rewritten.
